Body Talk With Divine BlogReal talk on marriage, connection, and staying in love — from someone who’s counseled through itBy Divine Umah | 7 min readSomewhere Along the Way, You Two DisappearedA guide for the husband who still loves his wife — but knows something has quietly gone missing. The Romance Reboot — How to Regain Your Partner’s Heart ForeverIf you’re reading this, I already know something about your marriage. You didn’t fall out of love. Nobody cheated. Nothing dramatic happened. You just… became “Mum and Dad.” Somewhere between school runs and work deadlines and who’s-turn-is-it-to-do-bedtime, the two people who used to stay up talking until 1am turned into two very competent co-managers of a household. You still love her. That was never the question. The question is: does she still feel it?She’s not upset with you, exactly. She just seems… further away than she used to be.That’s the thought that keeps circling back, isn’t it. Not a fight. Not a crisis. Just a distance you can’t quite name, and don’t know how to close. This isn’t a guide about flowers. It’s not about a fancy restaurant you’ll book once and never repeat, or pretending you’re twenty-two again. Those things are nice. They also don’t fix what’s actually happened here. What’s actually happened is this: you two stopped being a couple, and started being a really well-run team.Loving your wife and making her feel loved are not the same thing. One lives in your head. The other has to show up in the small, ordinary moments she actually notices. That’s what this guide is for.* * *Why I Wrote ThisMy name is Divine Umah. I’m not a marriage therapist with letters after my name, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. What I am is someone who has sat across from a lot of couples — in counseling settings, in quiet conversations after church, in kitchens over cups of tea — and heard some version of the same sentence more times than I can count: “We’re fine. We just don’t feel like us anymore.”Almost every time, it traces back to the same thing. Not a betrayal. Not a lack of love. Just years of logistics slowly replacing connection, until two people who chose each other are now just running a household together. The good news — and it is genuinely good news — is that this is one of the most fixable problems in a marriage. It doesn’t require a dramatic gesture. It requires a handful of small, deliberate shifts, done consistently, over a short period of time. That’s what I put into The Romance Reboot.* * *What’s Actually InsideThis isn’t a vague pep talk. It’s a short, practical guide built around six chapters, each one tackling a specific piece of what quietly pulls couples apart — and what pulls them back together.Chapter 1 — You Didn’t Stop Loving Her. You Just Stopped Being a Couple. Naming exactly what shifted, so you’re not guessing at the problem.Chapter 2 — The Date Night Advice Nobody Has Time For. What connection actually looks like when you have thirty minutes and a toddler who won’t sleep.Chapter 3 — First, Find the Woman Underneath “Mum.” How to see and speak to her as a person again, not just a co-parent.Chapter 4 — Stop Talking Like Business Partners. Breaking the logistics-only conversation loop most long-married couples fall into without noticing.Chapter 5 — Bring Back the Fun Before You Try to Bring Back the Romance. Why playfulness has to come first, and how to rebuild it.Chapter 6 — Make Her Feel Chosen Again. Small, specific actions that communicate “I still pick you” — not grand gestures, daily ones. Each chapter is short on purpose. This is written for a man with a full schedule, not a man with a free afternoon to study relationship theory. The Romance Reboot cover* * *The Bonus: Your Romance Reboot Quick ListSome days you won’t have the energy to think through a whole chapter. But intentional love, practiced consistently, changes the way two people experience each other. That part is true, and it’s where every real repair starts.* * *Get The Romance RebootNow AvailableThe Romance RebootA short, practical guide to reconnecting with your wife — six chapters, plus the Quick List bonus. The Romance Reboot + Bonus Quick List₦6,500Get The Romance Reboot NowCheckout link to be added — replace the button above with your Selar or Nestuge link before publishing. Please note: this guide is sold as-is with no refunds.
